| The Rural Housing Trust, a
registered charity (reg. 270 213) established in 1976,
provides affordable housing for local
people in small villages in England. We
work in close partnership with Parish
Councils to ensure developments are
designed to meet the housing needs of the
local community. Developments are small-scale, include both rented and shared
ownership housing and the houses are reserved for local
people. None of our houses can
ever be sold on the open market. We usually develop
small sites, but sometimes work on larger sites with developers who have to provide a percentage of affordable housing within
open market developments. Our development subsidiary is called RHT
Developments Limited. |
